Gyan Sewa Trust, in association with Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, has decided to provide accommodation to the candidates, who are appearing in the interviews for IAS, IPS and other central civil services examinations. The candidates from rural areas of Punjab and Sikh candidates from all over India shall be provided this accommodation. Arrangements would also be made for their coaching from reputed institutes. Efforts are being made to establish an hostel and a coaching center for the Sikh candidates and also for economically weaker candidates from rural areas of Punjab. The hostel may be ready by the middle of 2007. This arrangement is being made as the number of Sikh
candidates as well as candidates from rural areas in Punjab has reduced considerably over the last few years. It has been noticed that this is because of lack of educational resources available to them.
