To provide equal access to educational resources to those who have been deprived and to remove the disparity among rural and urban areas and also among rich and poor.

Punjab was number two in education among the states in India. Unfortunately today it is at number seven in general education and number twenty three in primary education. The in- take of students from Punjab in to any central services or professional courses is consistently reducing. Particularly, the students from villages are denied of quality-education and as a consequence of better employment opportunity for high-class services. A survey conducted by Punjabi University in  early in 2006 shows  that  last

year about 23,000 students got admission in Universities of Punjab. Out of them the rural students were only 911.

The mission Gyan Sewa Trust is to identify the  talented   students in the villages and provide them with the best available educational resources at their door steps to enable them to compete not only with the urban students of Punjab but also the students of metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta and Madras.

In the present time when in most of the leading universities, merit is prepared on all India basis, these  rural students have be to prepared to complete with those of Delhi, Mumbai Calcutta & Madras and not only with those of Ludhiana and Jallundhar.

To accomplish this mission Gyan Sewa Trust has engaged the best available faculty from Delhi, which visits villages in Punjab to teach the students there.
